GYMNASIUM AT STEVENSON UNIVERSITY OWINGS MILLS CAMPUS:
Owings Mills, Maryland

As a result of the growth of Stevenson University into a second campus in Owings Mills the Athletic department will move its main facilities to the Owings Mills campus. For this expansion Stevenson University retained JT Fishman and Associates to design and implement a new 38,000s.f. facility that will accommodate the basketball and volleyball program, providing a combined practice and game venue for the University. The design layout of the new gym is organized as a "pit" style building. The building support spaces include individual men's and women's team rooms for the basketball & volleyball teams, two sets of visiting team rooms, concessions, public restrooms, office space for the athletic department and storage. The building will provide a backdrop to the future athletic fields used for Lacrosse, Soccer and Football.

JTFA sited the building next to the existing Caves Athletic and Wellness Center that will allow the sharing of administrative offices and other athletic support spaces.

In addition to Architectural services, JTFA provided all graphic presentations including 3D graphics and modeling to aid Stevenson University with the planning and in the acquisition of governmental and private grants.
